This is back from 2014, when I was in Rio de Janeiro. It’s an uncut video of a free solo highline walk of a line at Morro do Cantagalo in the middle of the city. It’s around 35m long and probably 200m high. This video shows the way back. I walked it in both directions and was super relaxed and enjoyed the evening mood over the city. For many people it’s unimaginable how you could stay relaxed or even enjoy something like this. For me it’s just the purest form of highlining, when you’re so focused, that you become one with the slackline. You don’t even feel the slightest doubt, probably because you don’t really think of anything at that moment.
